From my opinion he saw Amare there and then raised his elbow but I am sure the Spurs fans will have a different opinion. Here’s the video on youtube. Based on the comments most people think it was dirty. Bowen was suspended last month, one day, for kicking Chris Paul and is just further increasing his reputation as a dirty player who goes after the other teams best players.

Will David Stern suspend Bowen longer this time. This could have easily lead to the ugly brawls he dreads and give the game a bad reputation. Kudos to the Suns and Amare for retaining their cool.
